About Balakumar

Dr Thacha is a GDC registered dentist. She graduated from St George's University of London earning a Biomedical Science degree (BSC) and later obtained Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree from the Medical University of Plovdiv in 2019. She loves travelling and had the opportunity to attend cosmetic webinars and assist dentists in UK & Australia. Through externships, research and participation in dental organisations she has gained exposure to most branches of dentistry. She have a real passion for laser dentistry and gained an award for the Best Presentation at the European Congress of Laser Dentistry in Plovdiv (2017). She is currently undertaking courses to further specialise in Cosmetic dentistry. She has also finished the Mini Smile Makeover composite bonding course. She continuously seeks training and professional development as her primary duty of care is to her patients. She is very enthusiastic and, as part of her dedication to dental wellness, she loves giving advice about how to improve your oral hygiene, encouraging people to have more self-confidence and to smile more! In her free time she loves being creative and is fond of painting. She is active and enjoys going to the gym or taking her puppy for a long walk.
