How your online smile assessment works

Three steps, all of them from your phone. Nothing is charged and nothing is booked until you say so.

Step 1

Send us four photos

Take them on your phone in a couple of minutes — a full smile, a close-up of your teeth, and one from each side. We show you an example of each angle.

Step 2

Tell us your medical history

The same questions we would ask at a first appointment. Getting them out of the way now means your consultation is spent talking about your teeth, not filling in forms.

Step 3

We reply within one business day

A member of the clinical team reviews what you send and comes back with what your options look like and what would happen next. There is no obligation to book.

Patient information

We need these details to send your assessment back to you. It takes about a minute.

Upload photos for your smile assessment

Please capture and upload photos of your teeth and smile. Use the examples below as a guide — four angles give us the best picture, but send whatever you can.

What happens after your assessment

If implants turn out to be the right answer for you, this is the route from your first visit to your final teeth.

  1. Free consultation and assessment

    Day 1 · about 45 minutes

We examine your mouth and remaining teeth, talk through what you want to be able to eat and how you want to look, and tell you honestly whether All-on-4 is the right answer for you.

  2. 3D CT scan and digital planning

    Within 1–2 weeks

A CT scan shows exactly how much bone you have and where it is. We plan the position and angle of each implant digitally before you come in for surgery, so nothing is decided on the day.

  3. Extractions, if any are needed

    Same appointment as surgery

Any failing teeth on the arch being treated are removed at the start of the surgical appointment, under local anaesthetic.

  4. Four implants placed and a fixed temporary arch fitted

    Surgery day · 3–5 hours

Four implants are placed, two upright at the front and two angled at the back to use the bone you already have. A fixed temporary arch is attached the same day, so you go home with teeth.

  5. Healing and review

    3–6 months

The implants fuse with your jawbone. You wear the temporary arch throughout and come in for periodic reviews. Most people are back to normal daily life within a week or two.

  6. Your final fixed arch

    After integration

Once the implants have integrated we take final impressions and fit your permanent arch, made to the shape, shade and bite we agreed with you.

Replacing a full jaw of teeth?

All-on-4 replaces every tooth in one jaw with a fixed arch on four implants, fitted in a day at our Morden and Surbiton practices. Read what it involves, what it costs and whether it would suit you.
