What happens, step by step

    We examine your mouth and scan the bone, then give you a written plan and price. There is no obligation to go ahead.

  2. 2

    Placing the implant

    The implant is placed under local anaesthetic at a planned appointment, using the CT scan to guide its position.

  3. 3

    Healing

    The implant bonds with your jawbone over the following months. The whole process typically takes three to six months.

  4. 4

    Fitting your crown

    Once healed, your custom-made crown is fitted and matched to your other teeth. We then check it at your regular visits.

Dr Jignesh Patel qualified as a dentist from King’s College London in 2002 and went on to complete a Diploma in Implant Dentistry at the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2012. He has spent over 15 years placing dental implants, with a particular interest in full-arch rehabilitation, including cases that involve bone grafts and sinus lifts.

Implant treatment at ConfiDental Clinic is led by Dr Patel, using a 3D CT scan to plan the position of each implant before any surgery takes place. He has completed over 5,000 implant procedures, and treats patients at both the Morden and Surbiton practices.
