What happens, step by step

    Complimentary assessment and CT scan

    We examine your mouth and scan the bone, then give you a written plan and price. There is no obligation to go ahead.

  2. 2

    Placing the implant

    The implant is placed under local anaesthetic at a planned appointment, using the CT scan to guide its position.

  3. 3

    Healing

    The implant bonds with your jawbone over the following months. The whole process typically takes three to six months.

  4. 4

    Fitting your crown

    Once healed, your custom-made crown is fitted and matched to your other teeth. We then check it at your regular visits.

Dr Jignesh Patel qualified as a dentist from King’s College London in 2002 and went on to complete a Diploma in Implant Dentistry at the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2012. He has spent over 15 years placing dental implants, with a particular interest in full-arch rehabilitation, including cases that involve bone grafts and sinus lifts.

Implant treatment at ConfiDental Clinic is led by Dr Patel, using a 3D CT scan to plan the position of each implant before any surgery takes place. He has completed over 5,000 implant procedures, and treats patients at both the Morden and Surbiton practices.

I live in Sutton or Carshalton. How far is the practice?

Our Morden practice is close to the A24 and A238, and patients travel to us from Sutton, Cheam and Carshalton. You can come in for the complimentary assessment first and decide from there.

What happens at the complimentary assessment?

We examine your mouth, take a CT scan to measure the bone where the implant would go, talk through your options and give you a written treatment plan. There is no obligation to go ahead.

How long will I be without a tooth?

The whole process typically takes three to six months while the implant bonds with your jawbone. If the gap is visible when you smile, we talk through temporary options at your assessment.

Do you also offer All-on-4 at Morden?
