Dr Farzana Shyam

Farzana obtained her dental degree from Peninsula Dental School. After qualifying, Farzana spent a year working in Hospital as a Senior House Office enhancing her skills in oral surgery, treating dental trauma and dealing with anxious patients and those with complex medical conditions.
She has been on various courses to attune her skills in aesthetic fillings, crowns and root canal treatment including one from the renowned Eastman Institute. She has a particular interest in aesthetic dentistry and oral surgery.
She believes that dentistry should be patient-centred and takes pride in helping patients feel at ease in a calm and friendly manner. Outside of work, she enjoys travelling, nature walks and playing badminton.
